Cassette Tapes
At HiFi Philly "Every" Cassette tape is "play tested" for sound quality. It must play clean with no drop outs or bad spots. I only list the best of the best in quality. Many do not make the cut. Pre recorded tapes were poor quality in the 1970's but the 1980's and 1990's the quality of pre recorded tapes greatly improved with HX Pro being used. and tape hiss totally eliminated. A cassette tape in great condition on a well maintained machine can sound great.
My passion for cassettes started in the early 1970's. I went to school for electronic repair in the late 70's. I have continued to play cassette tapes thru out the years. My car currently has a Dual CD / Cassette player installed. The Cassette has yet to skip when hitting a bump...
