Auto on when tape cartridge is inserted and auto off when removed.
This Empire has been serviced including: Replacing the capstan belt. Tape head was cleaned and demagnetized. The 4 illuminated track indicator bulbs were relaced. Machine was lubricated including the motor. Re-assembled and fully tested.
Our testing showed this Empire to produce quality sound and preformed flawlessly.
Physical condition is very good with some paint wear visible on the tape door from normal use.
